Empowering Global Communities: NEXUS-IBA’s Mission for Inclusive Information Dissemination

NEXUS International Broadcasting Association (NEXUS-IBA) is a pioneer in bridging information gaps worldwide, targeting philanthropic support from foundations, trusts, affluent individuals, corporations, and grantee organizations in developed countries, including the USA. We excel in delivering unbiased, impactful content globally, focusing on underrepresented regions.

Enhancing Connectivity: Bridging Information Gaps in Underserved Regions

Our initiative transcends geographical barriers, providing essential information access across Asia, Africa, and Europe. We seek funding partners committed to eradicating the digital divide, enhancing global literacy, and fostering informed communities.

Championing Neutrality and Free Speech in Global Broadcasting

NEXUS-IBA is a beacon of impartial information, inviting support from entities that value non-partisan, non-denominational faith communication. Our platform is ideal for donors promoting freedom of expression and thought worldwide.

NEXUS-IBA’s Role in Crisis and Conflict Resolution

Over the past 45 years, NEXUS-IBA has been pivotal in broadcasting essential information to global conflict, war, and troubled regions. Our broadcasts have acted as vital communication channels in unstable areas, providing reliable news and information to people in need.

Besides Palestine, Ukraine, and Iraq, our reach has extended to the former Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Iran, South Sudan, and African regions like Cameroon, Ethiopia, and Somalia. In Asia, we’ve supported communities in Afghanistan, Kashmir, India, and Pakistan during times of strife. Our commitment aligns with philanthropic donors who recognize the power of information in humanitarian aid, striving to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in conflict and post-conflict areas.

Enlightening Minds: Fostering Global Education and Cultural Exchange

Our educational and informational broadcasts empower global citizens, aligning with funders focused on educational upliftment and intercultural understanding.

NEXUS-IBA: Objective, impartial, non-partisan global news and information

There isn’t a single, universally agreed-upon definition of “most respected” or “objective” news source. However, several news organizations have a reputation for striving for fairness and accuracy in their reporting. Some generally recognised examples are.

  • The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation): The BBC World Service is known for its in-depth reporting and commitment to global coverage;
  • Agence France-Presse (AFP): A French news agency known for its factual reporting and global coverage;
  • Deutsche Welle (DW): A German public broadcaster that provides news coverage in 30 languages;
  • The Guardian (UK): A British daily newspaper known for its in-depth reporting and liberal perspective. While it has a viewpoint, it strives to present all sides of an issue fairly;
  • Reuters: An international news organization with a reputation for accuracy and neutrality;
  • Associated Press (AP): A large, global news cooperative known for its factual reporting and commitment to journalistic standards;
  • NPR (National Public Radio): A non-profit news organization known for its in-depth reporting and focus on under-reported stories;
  • PBS NewsHour: This American non-profit news program produces in-depth coverage of current events;

It’s essential to be aware that even our sources or program producers may have some bias, and it’s a good idea to get news from various sources to get a well-rounded perspective. Here are some tips for evaluating news sources:

  • Consider the source: Who published the story? Are they known for being credible?
  • Look for evidence: Does the story cite sources to support its claims?
  • Beware of loaded language: Does the story use emotional or biased framing?
  • Be sceptical of social media: Not everything you see on social media is true. Be careful about sharing information without checking its source.

By supporting NEXUS-IBA, donors contribute to fair and balanced news dissemination wordlwide, global enlightenment and societal progress.
